Apple Announces The iPhone 3G - Has 3G & GPS, Costs $199, Coming July 11thDuring Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, Steve Jobs announce the iPhone 3G, the next version of the iPhone.

This new version of the iPhone has a new look with beveled edges, flush headset jack, and all metal buttons. It also features, as we thought, 3G and GPS support. It also sports the same gorgeous display, and improved audio. The iPhone 3G will also be available in 22 countries at launch and 70 countries at the year’s end (Apple’s goal was 25).

The iPhone 3G also gets much better battery life and talk time on 3G than other 3G phones such as the Nokia n95.

The new iPhone will also cost $199 for the 8GB version and $299 for the 16GB version. It also comes in a white model.
